I would say this was the most productive retreat I have attended in my professional career. Discussions were led effectively to a positive outcome. My desired outcome for the retreat was defining a “pathway” for transition to more effective Board governance. This outcome was certainly met!

From my perspective, Michael led us in one of the most informative and thought-provoking sessions I have participated in during the more than 18 years I have been involved with this organization. Using information provided by our written survey and personal interviews, Michael presented the information in a format that both allowed and encouraged all to participate. The format and tools that he employed led us to examine and explore our current environment as well as how we might refine the structure of the Board and the way in which we might conduct our future meetings.
